Όταν το πράγμα ξεφεύγει απ’ τα όρια του και τις πραγματικές του διαστάσεις, τότε συμβαίνουν καταστάσεις σαν αυτή.
Δηλαδή ένα «παιχνίδι», να θεωρείται… βιασμός!
Γιατί αυτό συμβαίνει με το «Baby It’s Cold Outside» που, αν και γραμμένο λίγα χρόνια νωρίτερα, το 1949 παρουσιάστηκε στο φιλμ Neptune's Daughter, τραγουδισμένο από τους Esther Williams και Ricardo Montalbán. Μάλιστα κέρδισε και Όσκαρ.
Έκτοτε το ερμήνευσαν οι... πάντες (Ray Charles, Dean Martin, Michael Bublé, Tom Jones, Dolly Parton), κι εξακολουθούν να το αγγίζουν.
Το τραγούδι αν και πουθενά δεν αναφέρει την γιορτή των Χριστουγέννων, καθιερώθηκε ως… τέτοιο.
Κάποιες μικρές φωνές διαμαρτυρίας στην μετάδοσή του, φόβισαν τους υπεύθυνους των ραδιοφωνικών σταθμών λόγω του #MeToo. Κάπως έτσι ο ένας μετά τον άλλον έβαλε απαγορευτικό στο γλυκό τραγουδάκι που έγραψε ο Frank Loesser για τον ίδιο και τη σύζυγό του το 1944.
